Online recruitment system is a web based tool that makes the recruitment process easy and fast. It reduces the communication gap between job seekers and job providers. IT industry keep on growing day by day so in order to meet the technology trend, organizations has to recruit the people that best fit for a job. It stores all the information regarding the jobs, departments and job seekers skills, experiences and all. This system saves time and effort of both job seekers and job providers. It helps the management to take the decision for new recruitments.
OBJECTIVE OF THE PROJECT:
- To develop a flexible interface that can easily understand by the user and provide effective service.
- To reduce the manual effort for recruitment and provide a platform which best fit for job seekers and job providers.
- To develop software job providers can post a job by mentioning all the requirements.
- To provides job seekers register their details like skills and experience within the system and can apply for a suitable job.
Problem statement and need of this study:
The human resource management of DBU follows a file based management system to manage its resources. This file management system has several problems for the workers. Among the problems
- Redundancy of employees file in different departments
- Difficulty to organize updated employees file.
- Difficulty to retrieve any needed data in a convenient and efficient manner
- Sometimes they lose necessary files and starts to collect information again
Presently recruitment is done manually. That is if a company or organization needs employees they make an announcement through newspaper or advertisement. People who are eligible send application to the organization or company. From these applications they are called for interviews or tests. After tests company has to do short listing manually. From these shortlisted candidates, they are called for interviews. After interview short listed candidates are employed. So it’s all a time consuming procedure. This old process created the need to automate the recruitment system.
In today’s competitive environment, where everybody wants to be on the top, Information plays very crucial role. As fast as information is accessed and processed, it can give good results and easy staffing. Computerized system helps to fulfill these goals. Computerization of the official works will help in doing lot of manual work quickly. It will help in easy storage and access of all the information, in short period of time.
The project would help in effective and systematic record keeping, that is storing and retrieving of useful data. Project will be able to give the report so that management can recruit the new employees on different payroll as per the need of Organization and capable persons can send their resume across.
Online Recruitment Automation System is developed to facilitate the general administration. This system is developed to manage the various information of the Training, Recruitment, inventory and the processes involved in a Online recruitment so, that organization can access accurate information quickly and easily as and when required, thereby improving its operational efficiency & effectiveness.
