INTRODUCTION:

Online Car Connection System is software program for Rent operators and sell and purchase to manage Day to day operations .The project is done for the Rent operator and sell and purchase. The main problem they are facing is rent the rent when customer is called. There is a lot of mismatch in the address or in ending or in billing. To solve this project is developed. This project has options to store all the details of rent and sell purchase, drives and customer. So than customer called they will feed the data in computer, so easily we can allocate particular customer and based on this we can do the billing.

 

OBJECTIVES:

  1. The ONLINE CAR CONNECTION is a new system that replaces the current manual and telephone processes for ordering and picking up. The system is expected to evolve over several releases, ultimately connecting to the Internet ordering services for several Customers.
  2. To computerize the Rent and Sell Purchase operations and manage all Rent On Car through computer so there will not be any mismatch across the shifts. And make the proper billing for the customer.

 

PROBLEM STATEMENT:

  1. It is necessary to have a Computer and Network connection to access the Application.
  2. Online payment system cannot be implemented for this application.
  3. It is very difficult and time consuming to maintain all the details in to the registers when the organization is very big.
  4. It also takes much time for doing entry and checking of records.
  5. There is also possibility of mismatching of entries during entry of records.
  6. To make and maintain the different reports is also very tough and tedious job. Information is stored into registers, which requires large storage space.
  7. Searching particular record is very tedious job, since as a time passes the   condition of the registers becomes bad. Every year, they have to maintain new registers. 

LITERATURE REVIEW:

The systems development life cycle is a project management technique that divides complex projects into smaller, more easily managed segments or phases. Segmenting projects allows managers to verify the successful completion of project phases before allocating resources to subsequent phases. Software development projects typically include initiation, planning, design, development, testing, implementation, and maintenancephases. However, the phases may be divided differently depending on the organization involved. For example, initial project activities might be designated as request, requirements-definition, and planning phases, orientation, concept-development, and planning phases. End users of the system under development should be involved in reviewing the output of each phase to ensure the system is being built to deliver the needed functionality.

  WHAT IS HTML:

HTML is a mark-up language for describing web documents       (web pages).HTML stands for Hyper Text Mark-up Language. HTML documents are described by HTML tags. Each HTML tag describes different document content

WHAT IS CSS:-

CSS stands for Cascading Style Sheets.CSS defines how HTML elements are to be displayed. Styles were added to HTML 4.0 to solve a problem.CSS saves a lot of work. External Style Sheets are stored in CSS files

1.Admin Module:-

The ADMINS module is acronym for “Administration Information

System” .

      

The administrator can perform the following functions:

 Assign or change the price of the items, update the items in the list, and delete the items.

 Assign sales tax for different states at the time of checkout.

 View the history of the customers who purchased the items.

Admin: Add/Update/Delete Shopping Items

  1. Passenger Module:-

                             

The users should be able to perform the following functions using this system:

 

 View, browse, and select a category on the home page.

 View, add, and update items in the cart.

 

3.Checkout Items :-

The users shall be able to check out items only when there are items in the shopping cart.

CAB DETAILS:

Customers may view the cab timing at a date their name and their type of booking.

BOOKING:

After checking the number of cab available the customers books a cab or number of cabs according to their requirements.

BILLING:

After reserving the required cab, the customer pays the amount in advance(optional).

CANCELATION:

If the customer want to cancel the cab then 10% of the amount per personis deducted if the booking is cancelled before 30 mins of the service time DATABASE DESIGN:

A database design is a collection of stored data organized in such a way that the data requirements are satisfied by the database. A collection of relative records make up a table. To design and store data to the needed forms database tables are prepared. Two essential settings for a database are:

  • Primary key: – The field that is unique for all the record occurrences.
  • Foreign key: – The field used to set relation between tables. Normalization is a technique to avoid redundancy in the tables.
