INTRODUCTION:

The project ‘Online HealthCare Management App’ is a mobile application developed for the android devices in which the patients details is stored in the server side database. The project contains a server application, which is the hospital website and is accessible only by the hospital administrator. The mobile application is the client side, developed in android and it is designed for doctors and patients.

PROJECT OBJECTIVE

  • To computerize all details regarding patient details & hospital details.
  • To automate the process of ward entries.
  • To maintain records effectively.
  • To manage current status of staff and doctor availability.
  • The project has information regarding the inpatient details, outpatient details, Billing details and Ambulance details.

 

PROBLEM STATEMENT:

  • Lack of immediate retrievals: –

The information is very difficult to retrieve and to find particular information like- E.g. – To find out about the patient’s history, the user has to go through various registers. This results in inconvenience and wastage of time.

  • Lack of immediate information storage: –

The information generated by various transactions takes time and efforts to be stored at right place.

  • Lack of prompt updating: –

Various changes to information like patient details or immunization details of child are difficult to make as paper work is involved.

  • Preparation of accurate and prompt reports: –

This becomes a difficult task as information is difficult to collect from various registers.

  • Eliminate re-registration :-

Keeping a centralized data and share it across the network of hospitals

LITERATURE REVIEW:

ONLINE HealthCare Management App is a software product suite designed to improve the quality and management of hospital management in the areas of clinical process analysis and activity-based costing. Online healthcare Management System enables you to develop your organization and improve its effectiveness and quality of work. Managing the key processes efficiently is critical to the success of the hospital helps you manage your processes.

Product perspective is essentially the relationship of the product to the other products, defining if the product is independent or is part of a larger product (dependent), and what the principal interfaces of the product are.

This software is totally independent system that manages activities of the COS as taking appointments, generating patient reports, personnel management and administrative issues.

In this project all the records are stored in single database. Different users have different permission to access this web application. Each user has unique id. If any data is lost user is having option to recovery. User’s don’t have right to alter records after particular time period and also it is not having option to alter other patient records.

DATA FLOW DIAGRAM (DFD) :

A Data Flow Diagram (DFD) or a Bubble chart is a network that describes the flow of data and processes that change, or transform data throughout the system. This network is constructed by using a set of symbols that do not imply a physical implementation. It is a graphical tool for structured analysis of system requirements DFD models a system by using external entities from which data flows to a process ,which transfer the data and creates, output-data-flows which go to other external entities or files .data in files many to processes as inputs.
