INTRODUCTION:

Payroll system is the heart of any Human Resource System of an organization. The solution has to take care of the calculation of salary as per rules of the company, income tax calculation and various deductions to be done from the salary including statutory deductions like Income tax and provident fund deductions. It has to generate pay-slip, cheque summary and MIS reports.

OBJECTIVES:

The main objective of project includes:

  1. To make personal Record of all Employees.
  2. To improve efficiency of company’s administration.
  3. To store up-to-date information of the employees.
  4. To make the employees understand the rules of the company.
  5. To reduce extra cost for the security of the database.

PROBLEM STATEMENT (INCLUDING LITERATURE REVIEW)

 

The disadvantages of current system are all those associated with manual working systems. It is time consuming to produce bills or reports as compared to any other computerized system.

Humans are more probes to errors so always possibility of errors in producing results. As all the work done is written on registers if any register is missed or damaged it is simply very difficult to produce to present accurate figures. Employees can make fraud by writing wrong entries on register and take away the money and it is simply impossible to catch the defaulter because there is no proof.

 

LITERATURE REVIEW:

‘PAYROLL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM ’ is a website   application   which   is developing for an organization . Employees  and  management of  that  particular organization can communicate  each other using this site . This  is mainly  used  for understanding  each employees their on salary status  and  other details  of  the organization using internet.

The  administrator  will  control  the  organization and will allow an account for each employee. The employees can use that account from anywhere of the world. Using this account employee get the detail about the salary, leave , loan etc .

The main two parts or section are administrator section and user sections. Administrator control the whole operations in the site .User has a provision for only view the details and apply for some operations like leave ,advance etc.

METHODOLOGY TO BE USED

 

DATA COLLECTION DESIGN

Data would be collected with the help of using questionnaires. A questionnaire, which is also known familiarly as an interview schedule with a format containing a list of questions sequentially order to obtain information relevant to the objectives of the study. Structure and undisguised questionnaire was chosen as the questions could be presented with exactly the same order to all the respondents.

The questionnaire for research will be  included a combination of the following kinds of question

  • Close-ended
  • Direct question

 

 

 

DATA COLLECTION:

Primary source:

The researcher will be collected the data directly from sample respondents through direct interview method and with the help of structured questionnaire.

 

Secondary source:

The secondary data for the study will be collected from various journals, survey reports, books and magazines.

Sampling technique:

The employees of the concerned company will be taken as a sample and will carry out the study.
