Online Exam portal is the best mode to track the students’ capabilities and test them, propel them in high levels to act their best in the next attack. Online Exam portal not only looking into the down marks of students, but also assisting the students and educational institutes transcend geographical boundaries and time restraints in the chore of constant evaluation of pupil functioning. The online Exam Portal provides intensive tools to administer, monitor and grade exams on-line. Online Exam portal is primary want for colleges, universities, teachers, professors, Employees, Partners, Technicians, web site Members, the overall Public, or anyone you would like to allow secure access to your Content. OBJECTIVES OF THE PROJECT
The aim of the project is to develop a demo web site that enables users to appear an online examination with certain terms and conditions fixed by the organization. Using this web portal user may test their fluency in a particular subject online.
Software has to be designed to conduct tests. Unlike other examination systems this software should not be just for the students; instead it should also provide facility to Institutes to host Tests/Exams. This will help institutes as:
- There will be no need to get new software every time to conduct a test.
Also like other software, it will help students by:
- Saving the extra time of going to far away Exam Centre.
- Students need not wait for their results.
Also this software will remove the flaws of existing Manual Systems like:
- Reducing the manual labour (Decreases Overheads).
- Avoiding Mistakes Due To Human Error (Accurate).
- Will Increase Efficiency and Save Time.
- Will Allow Neat Handling Of Data Rather Than Error Prone Records.
The institutes will register themselves with a unique login name and password; the unique id will be issued to the institutes by the website.
- They will enter exam details like number of questions, positive marks.
- Then they will enter the questions along with the answers which can later be deleted and edited.
- Also they will enter the list of eligible candidates with their id names which can also be edited later.
- Institutes will be able to view the students list along with their respective results.
Also for students:
- They will be able to login with their id, name and institute id.
- They will be able to give the exam as per the details entered by respective institutes.
- Also they will be able to view their scores after test finishes.
- If already given the test then they will just be able to view their scores.
- Other users can take sample tests to get feel and look of how the tests are conducted.
Other key points:
- Different set of questions will be given to different students.
- The questions will be selected randomly from the database.
In literature, various researchers focused on various sections of the online examination system.
The Schramm  looked at a e-learning web based system that could simply offer and grade mathematical questions with infinite patience. Therefore it needs the capability for in and output of mathematical formulas, the dynamic generation of plots and the generation of random expressions and numbers.
Al-Bayati and Hussein  presents an applied Generic Software of multiple kinds of e-exam package; this package of e-exam is oriented to Hearing Impaired (HI) persons. Therefore the exam material of this package is translated into language of HI persons like sign language and finger spelling. The idea of the Generic software is to present an empty template to the teacher who would like to develop his required e-exam for the needful topic such as mathematics, language, science, etc. and desired set of exam kinds such as multiple choices, matching between words, fill in blanks, etc… The web-based examination system is an effective solution for mass education evaluation..
Research methodology is a way to systematically solve the research problem. it may be understood as a science of studying how research is done scientifically. So, the research methodology not only talks about the research methods but also considers the logic behind the method used in the context of the research study.
Descriptive research is used in this study because it will ensure the minimization of bias and maximization of reliability of data collected. The researcher had to use fact and information already available through financial statements of earlier years and analyze these to make critical evaluation of the available material. Hence by making the type of the research conducted to be both Descriptive and Analytical in nature.
From the study, the type of data to be collected and the procedure to be used for this purpose were decided.
The required data for the study are basically secondary in nature and the data are collected from the audited reports of the company.
Primary data are those data, which is originally collected afresh.
In this project, Questionnaire Method and Interview Method has been used for gathering required information.
Sources of Data:
The sources of data are from the annual reports of the company.
Methods of Data Analysis:
The data collected were edited, classified and tabulated for analysis. The analytical tools used in this study.
SOFTWARE AND HARDWARE SPECIFICATION
The selection of hardware is very important in the existence and proper working of any software. When selecting hardware, the size and capacity requirements are also important.
Below is some of the hardware that is required by the system

- 256 MB RAM
- Processor- Pentium 4 or above
